Jamaica Runaway Bay Resort for a Day was absolutely GORGEOUS and soooo easy!! Very relaxing. The kids had the water park and we had a canopy. Your cup never had to go empty and our bellies were full of the delicious jerk chicken and other foods. This was our first time to Jamaica and I was very Leary taking the kids (12,16 yr olds) but it was super easy. They were not holding a sign but they were right outside the canopy that Carnival had set up for their cruise excursions. (We just kept asking people until we found them). They drove us there, drove us back in PLENTY of time to let us go shopping and get back on the boat safely. Definitely would do it again and again!!

Jamaica and its people are beautiful.We took a guided tour that took us from local shops where we sampled rum, then up in the hills, and lastly to a beatiful spot tucked nicely away in the woods. While there we had had jerk chicken cooked on the grill, and walked in the river as the tube floated by. This was as was such a knowledgeable and relacing tour for us.

Liked this port very much. A little different than most. Don't usually get off because we've been to most of these ports so many times. Our first time here though.

I did not do an excursion. We winged it. We paid a taxi driver $40 each and he took us all over the place and we had a ball. We went to Fern Gully and a bunch of other places before running out of time. I am definitely going back to Jamaica.

We did not climb the falls, but climbed the walkways near the falls. This gave us an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the falls and to take pictures of others in our group as they climbed the falls.
