Review summary

I heard a lot of complaints about the Sensation because it was an older ship but I had a blast. Orlando is a great cruise director. I enjoyed my activities on board and in port. Our suite was great and Rechie our room steward was always friendly and made sure we were happy. I would recommend this ship but like with anything if going on looking for something to complain about you will find it.

I stayed overnight in Miami and had a blast at Senor Frogs. Our flight was late so we didn't have time do anything else by the time we got in.

I did not do an excursion. We winged it. We paid a taxi driver $40 each and he took us all over the place and we had a ball. We went to Fern Gully and a bunch of other places before running out of time. I am definitely going back to Jamaica.

It was to americanized. I felt like I was at Myrtle Beach except they drive on the other side of the street. I did enjoy going to Hell and the beach.

I'm also hearing plenty of disparaging things in reference to this ship. Please fill me in on the following: 1) Do the cabin areas smell like sewage? 2) Are the decks reeking of marijuana smoke? 3) Does the ship rock more than the average cruise ship? 4) Are the majority of staff members unprofessional? 5) Was the food within the main dining areas mediocre? 6) Was the pool too small and overcrowded?

Sensation may be old, but you can still have a great time on her. We have been on her a lot and always have fun. Its what you make of it.
