At the falls, avoid going through the market place. I don't like hagglers so it was kind of stressful when they kept talking and wouldn't leave me along. The islanders would get in your face and make you feel guilty and disrespectful if you didn't shake their hand and make a purchase.

Only got to Dunn's River Falls - Simply beautiful - After the climb up and down the falls, only had energy for limited shopping

The past 2 times I have been to Ocho Rios, I have taken the same shore excursion (San San Yacht Cruise) This takes you snorkeling and then to Dunns River Falls, which is great.

Dunn's River falls is good...so touristy.....go early....watch for taxi drivers trying to pull a fast one on you. Do not try and rent jet skis here.....scams

Best thing here is Dunn River Falls. You need to be somewhat physically fit though and it's definitely too dangerous for children. But if you can do it, it's a beautiful, exhilerating hike. You walk down to the beach, then start hiking up the actual waterfalls. Many rocks are slippery and can be sharp so make sure you take your watershoes.
