Hardly any shopping, and the personnel off the ship were very disorganized. Also, be careful. We got a S’well bottle stolen out of our backpack. Excursion was city tour and beach break combo, loved it. Beach was awesome and City tour was very knowledgeable. We went to Sam Sharpe square, Rose Hall which is a must see, and did a little shopping.

We did the Rastafari tour as a last minute added excursion. I guess I am glad to say I did it once, but that will last me a lifetime. This was the first time Carnival has had this excursion. Everything you ever wanted to know about the Rastafarian movement/culture/history. Met some nice people.

Mo bay was fun but not my favorite. The shopping was ok but I felt like I was being looked at like I was a prime piece of meat. But I loved our tour guide Nikki

Loved swimming with the dolphins!!!! Beach was just so-so. It was crowded and the water was cold. Our tour guide, Christina was great. She stayed right by my side the whole 2 hours it took to braid my hair.

I would’ve been afraid to do anything in Montego Bay WITHOUT a tour guide. (Our guide happened to be great!) Unfortunately, our excursion was in Ocho Rios, which was a pain. I knew that going in, so I can’t complain too much LOL. We saw multiple people (military, I suppose) standing around with M-16s as we drove to Ocho Rios....that was a little unnerving. The locals will DEFINITELY harass you to buy something. Our tour guide told us repeatedly to ignore them and just walk away. So that’s what we did, and they barely talked to us. Local drivers will have you PRAYING you make it back to the ship alive. 😳 Overall, I’d say book an excursion CLOSE TO PORT through CARNIVAL, or stay on the ship. Be prepared to be harassed. If you go into things knowing the norm, you shouldn’t have reason to be disappointed. We are going back to Montego Bay next year and will be doing an excursion there in MB.

I hated this stop starting with there driving. I scared me to death. I already suffer with anxiety and depression issues from a car wreck. Our first stop was the beach and Margaritaville .Drug dealers everywhere did not feel safe. Food got me sick besides my anxiety attack. And the clif diver off a telephone pole . And a stop at one shop . Most expensive. I will never go there again it’s not a safe place!!!!!!

MoBay is a unique destination. Been many times and always enjoy visiting with the locals as they are always laid back and enjoying the Caribbean life. Doc Cave Beach is my personal favorite. Located just off the “hip strip” a small entry fee gets access to this amazing water and all sand beach. Walking the hip strip you can find some great local flavors being cooked up on an open grill.

Got to sample jerk chicken. That day was kind a rainy and gloomy but we did get to see a part of Jamaica that was interesting I don’t think I’m really excited about this one but if you wanna tour I would take it
