poor country , did the great river bamboo raft ride -- i would recommend, but the organization getting to the location and the usual wait for people to get back on the bus is why i don't usually do excursions

We did the tour to Johns Hall and visited one of the preschools. The children were adorable, very clean and well groomed/dressed. At the plantation they served us true Jamaican food...very interesting! Our tour guide Tamara was very informative. I had heard from other travelers that I should watch out for pushy vendors, but Tamara kept us informed and safe!

Jamaica was awesome! We spent the day at Margaritaville, which is connected to the beach and definitely within walking distance! We also really liked the shopping there.

Our excursion in Jamaica was Dunn’s River Fall and the bobsled after riding the chairlift through the rainforest. We had a great time in all three and would recommend the excursion. The only downside was porting in Montego Bay and having to bus over and hour to Ocho Rios. We were late getting back to the ship. Thankfully we booked through the cruise line and the ship was waiting for us. We had a great time while there.

We went on the Sandal's excursion, too expensive for what you get. Reccommend the Sunset Beach for $40, lots more for your money!! Not a Carvinal excursion, but you can get a cab and they will just take you there.
