Montego Bay, Jamaica Port Reviews

My Wife and I were very disapointed in Jamaica. We took the Island Tour and quickly came to the conclusion that we would never come here for a Holiday. The Island seemed to be run down. The Local gathering of Craft Shops were a complete waste of time.

We went to sandals. It was a wise choice even though it was overpriced for what we got. Stay with a group if you get off the ship. Don't take shopping trip.

The tour of city we took was not really adviseable. Just drove thru a few areas and really did not see any outstanding sites.

Has anyone used Irie Tours and Transportation? My husband and I wanting to go to Mystic Mountain...thoughts and or suggestions are very much appreciated!

Went shopping in a cordoned off area with fine jewelry stores. Outside of this area seemed a little dangerous and sketchy, so we never ventured out. Bought some fine jewelry and a Swiss watch, which were both REALLY good deals, but wish that we had ventured to a beach. Next time, will head to the beach in Jamaica and save shopping for Cozumel or Grand Caymans.

We visited Rose Hall Plantation beach resort and enjoyed it very much. The beach and the pools. The lunch was delicious and the tour guide and bus driver were very helpful and informative. Wonderful people in Jamaica.
