Should have done an excursion. Only shopping available and do not go into the town..very scary. They need to inform cruisers that there is NO beach avail at port..I was disappointed with this

We hired a private driver Di Jamaican Flava Tour Transfers. Mark Williams was our driver and he was FANTASTIC!! He was very knowledgeable about the area and showed us some great local sights, local food favs and then took us for some time at Doctors Cave Beach. It was beautiful and not overly crowded. The wait staff there were great and the drinks were good! We did a little shopping in the area after our time at the beach and Mark got us back to port in ole ty of time to get back on the ship. HIGHLY recommend him to anyone wanting to see some sights and have a great time!

LOVED every minute of it,the lazy river was incredible and the staff at CHUKKA was the best! Ask for Banana Boy!

Jamaica is very expensive for folks off of the ship. The folks selling taxi services, etc are much more aggressive than the people in Cayman or Cozumel.

Port was OK, we did the Caverns and Dunn Falls excursion. Loved it. But on the way back from Dunn Falls we were forced to exit through the market shops which I understand, but the merchants were very pushy! Even rather insulting when you didn't want to buy. I walked through as quickly as I could.

Would avoid a cruise that planed on stopping here. The people were rude and it was not a place I would ever want to go.
