Traveled to Falmouth on the Disney Wonder. Booked excursion through cruise line for Bobsledding at Mystic Mountain and Dunn’s River Falls. A van picked us up right from the port and took us on an approximate 40-minute drive to Ocho Rios. The ride up the chair lift to the top of the mountain had stunning views. The bobsled ride was exciting. We were served a lunch of Jerk Chicken, slaw & rice at Mystic Mountain set up buffet style, it was very tasty. Then we got back in the van a went to Dunn’s River Falls. I did not climb the falls because I am accident prone and didn’t want to ruin my vacation with a fall. I did get to see the falls but chose to spend my time at the bottom where they empty out into the ocean where there is a lovely beach. In order to exit the falls you have to walk through a market where the locals are VERY pushy trying to get you to purchase food or souvenirs. It is set up like a maze and hard to get out of. I didn’t like that! The port itself has a very “touristy” feel to it. It’s not a real town it’s just set up to look like one. With the said it is a very nice port with lots of shopping. Blue Mountain coffee, jewelry, clothing, wood handicrafts, rum cake, etc.

We did the Blue Water Beach excursion through RCCL. The beach really became crowed later in the morning so make sure you get there early or you will not be able to have a chair. The water was murky the day we were there so we were unable to snorkel but we still have a wonderful time!

Our family loved Jamaica! Also loved the ease of the cruise port here. Went to an all inclusive hotel for the day that was fabulous. Great beach, food and service!

After the first stop I was hesitant to leave the immediate port area, the people working inside the fence seem to be very polite and not pushy but we were warned by a guard not to go out of the gated area unless with a guided tour.
