Everyone is super friendly, but make sure to check for the best price elsewhere before buying. They sell a lot of the same items at different shops with drastically different prices.

We took a trolley guide. Our guide,Susan, was fantastic. Port was ok. If you go outside the gate you see how poor and dirty the country is.

The immdiate port area looks really nice, but I felt like Jamaica itself was a bit sketchy.

The port is actually really nice. We did a tour to the other side and went to margarita like. And by “tour” I mean a bus ride through poverty where they talked about Mangos non stop.

Jamaica was nothing like we thought. The port was cool lots of shopping, you can haggle some.

Nice port area and large open shopping area. Did a general island tour and beach break. Plan to return. Jamacain people are very friendly.

Not a great variety of excursions. Seems like at least half of them involved Dunns River Falls. On our bus (and at least one other I heard of) there were no steps available for people who had trouble stepping up to the first step on the bus.
