Review summary

This ship had a great indoor muster drill that was not too painful and not in the blazing hot temperatures. The beds are very comfortable with soft linens. The shower is round with glass doors instead of a curtain that tries to get handsy with you while showering. The balcony was really large and fully covered (deck 8 8352). The specialty restaurants were very good and worth the extra expense especially when doing a pkg or 1st night done right discount. Our negatives were the stateroom bathroom decor was outdated, but not likely to be changed. The buffet entry area always smelled funky and the buffet dining area carpets were really dirty from spills. The disembarkation is the worst at sea and spoils all the relaxation you have from a nice week long vacation. Be prepared for unorganized long slow lines that go halfway around the ship outside in the sun. Worst part of the whole trip.

Try the Swordfish the second night in the main dining room...craveable!

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

We love Galveston. If you go in a day early check out the Nautical Antique shop in the Strand Dristrict. It was a real highlight.

Cozumel, Mexico

Rent a car or moped and go to the east side of the island. Gorgeous, empty beaches for miles and miles. Good little bars and food shacks too in limited quantity.

Falmouth, Jamaica

The immdiate port area looks really nice, but I felt like Jamaica itself was a bit sketchy.

I did Self Assist and was off the ship and on the highway in no time and it felt like everyone was doing self assist.

We had some idiot that they couldn't find at disembarktion. Wouldn't let anyone off until they found her. After that it was 10 minutes and I was in my car. We did self assist

We were off the ship and in our car heading home by 8:30 am. No lines and this was spring break.
