Went horseback riding for the first time here (have been to Cozumel and number of times) and had a great time although the Mayan ruins were just ONE ruin which they had turned into a chapel of sorts - but the ride was terrific!

We did the "mini jeep" adventure tour at this port. It was so much fun & the kids loved it. We went to a beautiful beach at Punta Sur & went snorkeling. The water was pretty rough & tough for the adults and kids. All in all it was a great time.

I was unset that I could not visit beach without paying. Shopping seem to be the whole deal. All excursions were very expensive.

We went on a tour. It was interesting. The tour guide makes a big difference as to whether a tour is exciting or not. We went by the college and the military base. Some of the group went zip lining and loved it.

Rent a scooter and drive around the island. People are really nice and it is very safe. Scooter rents for $25. You can't get lost because there is only one road around the island. Disembark early. Drive to Playa Bonita for a dip and then to the ruins.

Cozumel was a lot of fun. We went horseback riding to the Mayan Ruins. It was relaxing and very informative and our tour guide was super motivated the entire time. If your decided to stop at the restaurants while you are there be careful when ordering a mixed drink, they are not shy with their alcohol at all.

Not very much variety in the shopping...you have to be able to bear the aggressive shop workers wanting to lure you into their stores. The water was beautiful, though...wish we had taken one of the water-related excursions.

We went on a tour of "Mayans ruins of Coba". It was wonderful. Someone would enjoy it if they like history. I have met one of the best guides of my life on this tour. The tour was a 6 hour event and took most of the time and we only had less than 2 hours to explore the port.
