Loved Cozemel, the port, the excursion, and the process was very easy, and fast. Love this port!! The water is so clear and you actually will see fish.

Mr. Sanchos !!!!! We made reservations for four and only had to put a $20 deposit down. It is so worth the money. Our cab fee was $17 each way. The food on the buffet was good and the drinks are literally non stop. For this reason be careful and pace yourself! The bathrooms are clean. You can get a massage or one of the fishy pedicures here also. Wifi is included in the inclusive package. You have to be under the main pavilion for it to work though. We already have our cruise booked for next Memorial Day and reservations again for Mr Sanchos.

What a beautiful place! Just DON'T do excursions! On the first day, we rented a car for 65 dollars (with gas) and drove all around the island, went to 2 different beaches with clear blue water that looked like swimming pools. We went to the San Gervasio ruins which were also pretty cool. Second (unplanned) day proved my point not to take an excursion, we took a cab to a beach club and the water was not as clear and it was so crowded. Walked away and all was good again. Vendors are not as pushy as ppl say here, just be polite and keep walking! Cozumel "unspoiled" beaches are the paradise!!! ❤

2nd time visiting this port. Easy on and off the ship. Don't bring any food off the boat. My mom forgot she had an orange in her bag and the K9 dogs sniffed it and she had to take it out. We docked at Punta Langusta. Beautiful port with lots of shops and restaurants. We took a cab 22 dollars each way for 5 of us to Chankanaab Park which was about a 10 minute drive. I bought a deal through Groupon for 65 dollars for the Dolphin Encounter which also included admission to the park, as well as buffet lunch, drinks, and access to the lockers. We didn't have much time to do anything except for with the dolphins before we headed back to the port for some shopping. Best place to buy souvenirs. Usually the stores off the path with have better prices.

We both thought that Cozumel was a definite highlight of the week. We got away from the tourist areas and went to a marvellous family restaurant just 3 blocks off the Main Street. The people that we met along the way were very helpful and willing to help with advice. We never felt unsafe or insecure. The shopping was certainly lacking in pressure compared with other ports of call. Food was great.

There is always so much to do here. We went to Mr. Sancho's, which is not offered through the cruises. A taxi will take you there and take you back to the ship. This place is wonderful and I highly encourage anyone to visit there.
