Been here many times. Get your own taxi to sights. Cheap and reliable.

I wish we would have spent more time in Cozumel but we had an excursion booked so we went to another part of Mexico. We went and saw the ancient city of Tulum which was really nice to see the ruins.

We did the SeaTrek helmet dive in Cozumel at Jennie's Restaurant. The excursion was fun, but the sea life was pretty non-existent in this area except a small school of fish. Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but I was expecting more animals. I took an underwater camera that I was allowed to use myself, so we didn't purchase the (overpriced) photos and video they took for us.

Suggest going to one of the beach clubs there. Went to Mr. Sanchos and did it ala carte - best way to go unless you plan on drinking a lot. Food and drinks were excellent as was the service.
