Loved me sanchos! We had plenty of time after to visit shops in the port. Taxis very easy to find. We lined up waiting at port and mr sanchos. We did visit a few jewelry stores, but feel there was not a real deal to be had. Picked up the usual nick backs and souvenirs. Locals did not seem pushy at all. Did buy rum and beer, which of course we were able to pick up on the day of debarking.

Mr Sanchos is always a safe bet for the money! Don’t forget to make reservations far in advance if a group.

Loved this port. People here are friendly. The port area is very nice and new and Americanized. I traveled into town and found a refreshing old Mexico feel.
