We did an all inclusive Resort day at Melia Resort. The resort was great. We stayed in the adult area of the pool as the beach was close due to high surf. They have a ton of great stuff for kids of all ages. They had a wonderful fresh buffet for lunch that offered salmon and steaks grilled to order along with all kinds of other dishes. You do need to take a cab to get there and back but it only cost us $10.00 for a couple each way.

I desperately wanted to snorkel in Cozumel having heard about it for years, but made the mistake of booking a trip with the ship's excursions. I asked about the companies providing the excursions and for recommendations, but the staff onboard knew nothing. It was a mistake. I took the "Three reef snorkel" and these guys were awful. They did not share much knowledge about the reefs or fish, they took us to reefs within sight of the cruise ships so we never got to see much of the island's beauty. The water itself was lovely and we did see a few fish. The crew member who went in with us dove and poked a few coral formations to encourage a crab or eel to appear, but they didn't oblige. He mostly blew bubbles, I guess to amuse us, but that was not what we paid to see. I climbed the ladder to get back onboard and a crew member stood in my way at the top, so I fell on the rough deck and cut my knee. A fellow passenger said I was bleeding a lot and I saw a large scrape. I tried to stop the bleeding with a tissue and the crew did nothing. Awful

Very enjoyable. Cannot ask for a better experience. We enjoyed the excursions we chose, including the fun time we had snorkeling in the beautifull water. We chose to use Pricelines excursions, which made it much moire personal. We had an nice lunch at an authentic Mexican hole in the wall type place. The food was excellent and enjoyable, and we were treated like we were part of the family. The tour of the Tequillia farm was interesting and fun. Very personable tour guide, who seemed to enjoy the small group we were with. If I remember correctly, there were only about 7 or 8 people in out tour total, thus we had access to hearing everything and enjoying all without huge crowds. Finally the trip to the lighthouse area was great. We saw animals we never thought were living in the area. Fun to look around and enjoy. The only setback I feel worthy of mentioning, the Jeep we were assigned to and drove was hard for our ladies to get in and out of. The issue was resolved quickly by one of the tour guides helpers, finding a stool to assist in getting in and out. Overall, a great tour of the area and fun things to do.

We rented a car. We drove to an area just past the national park on the west coast, and simply pulled into a short side road that ended at the waters edge. It was great snorkeling; we had brought our own equipment. We then drove down to the southeast side of the island, stopped at a public beach and swam in the surf. We then went up to the middle road and cut back to the main city, but stopped just outside at a panaderia and had the most fabulous bread I have ever tasted. We bought 4 small loaves of different kinds of bread, for a total of $2.

We absolutely love Nachi Cocum. It's an all-inclusive place. Beautiful location, hammocks right by the ocean, swim up bar. Be careful and bring tons of sunscreen and a ready-to-chill attitude. You will love this place!

We did an excursion - ATV / beach. This was fun. the beach was bad, Food was good there, but the hucksters were a major pain. You couldn't even sit at your dining table with out someone walking up selling junk like cigars, hats, shirts, Iguana (filthy animals to bring to my lunch table) pictures, etc. Guides were fun.

Very friendly and colorful. Bell shaped jellyfish in the water. There are a lot of different foods to whet your appetite or completely fill it. Shrimp escabiche is delicious, but like ceviche can be... a curse from the gods. Lol if you get what I mean. Anything with El Jimador is going to keep the party going. Tequila and Squirt in a ceramic mug is wonderful!

We booked the Encounter with the Dolphin @Dolphinaries and it was great experience. Also we got an upgrade for the kids to be able to swim with the dolphins. The photos are priceless. The food and Beverages excellent. The only thing was due to bad weather we couldn't do kayak and paddle board neither.

Cozumel a was great port a lot of shopping and restaurants when you get off the ship. We did la casa en la playa excursion it was nice we did snorkeling in there not a lot of fish to see because is not really a place to snorkel but you can see a couple of them, i rate it with a 4 star because in la casa en la playa the food wasn’t unlimited just the drinks we got there like at 1:40 we had snacks ( guacamole, pico de gallo with chips) only that for snacks no varieties ) and then we had lunch like at 2:30 you had to choose from 3 plates . And after that no food until 5:30 that we left. The excursion costs us 104$ which i think is really pricey for just that. One thing i liked is that since its adults only there were only 15 of us, was were relaxing.
