We got off the boat - found a taxi & went to Krazy Lobster! $12.00 taxi ride for 4 of us. Upon arrival Martin got us a table for 4, 4 lounge chairs at the beach edge, & an umbrella. He gave us options for excursions that they do from there as well. We opted for drinks (mixed drinks were $6.00 - mini Coronas were 5 for $10?? We also ordered nachos. Total bill was $51.00 for the time we spent there - probably 3-4 hours. The beach was netted off to keep as much of the red tide out as possible. My two daughters & I enjoyed hour long massages ($20pp). We also went on a snorkel trip (thanks to Martin!) to swim with sea turtles & rays. Very cool! $25pp. (Lots of vendors would walk through Krazy Lobster trying to sell their goods. We just told them no thanks & they moved along.)

We always go the flea market on the beach, its four or five blocks long, free beach. Lots of good food and a 20.00 dollar massage for 1 hour, ( the price goes down as you go up the beach. You will not regret it.

I wasn't sure what to expect because I read so many bad comments about this port. We thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was absolutely beautiful!

Not a Royal excursion but on the recommendation of a travel blogger. We took the tram ($3) to the last stop on the island called 40 Canons beach resort. Once there we paid the host $60 each for all inclusive. Included is beach chairs, paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel gear. Plus all drinks (alcoholic and non) plus one entree each. This was a wonderful relaxing day at a beach that was not crowded from all the people that came from the ship. On the beach there is also women that will do massage for $25. Great deal compared to the ship.

I love this port. Its clean, theres plenty to do, and I think its visually nice to look at. There is a lot of shopping. There are also many restaurants- my favorite includes the one with a live wrestling show. There are also little activities to so, such as swimming with dolphins, mayan healing ritual, or a bird excursion, all within the port.

2 bucks a person to the beach by cab just outside the Port gate. 20 dollar massage at the beach, how can you go wrong.

For this port we went to Maya Chan resort. It was a fantastic place. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were delicious. I would recommend this place.

Loved this port! Free pool, entertainment and nice shopping. Take the tram to the beach for $3. There is a pedestrian street along the beach with outdoor eating areas, talavera pottery, souvenirs, swimming and lots more. Taxi drivers have stations on the street to take you back to the ship for $4. It’s just a 10 minute ride. Check out Krazy Lobster!

If you are looking for good tacos at a reasonable price close to the ship, do yourself the favor and take the 5 minute walk from the port just passed the “replica Mayan Temple”. There is a hotel with a restaurant at the front on the left side of the road that is phenomenal. Karla was amazing and the tacos are worth going back for.
