Not my favorite port. It’s a giant tourist trap for the most part. I highly recommend staying on the ship and enjoying it while everyone else goes ashore.

Great if you like to shop, there are lots of shops and they are very pushy with getting you in there store. Nothing really do do unless you book an excursion. Pool area was nice with the swim up bar. Next time I’m at this port I will more than likely stay on the ship (other wise I’ll be at the swim up bar pool area).

You have to expect the barkers and salespeople. That’s the same at every port. It is a lovely port and very clean. I’m going to eat on the ship next time though because we had tacos and they tasted like nothing.

This port is beautiful. We didn’t book an excursion for this port. We shopped and had lunch next to the dolphin encounter. The food was great and the drinks were strong.

Love this port! We took a taxi to a little beach front bar and grill. They had chairs, ice cold beers, and great service! They even gave our group an unopened bottle of tequila to enjoy on the beach.

We did the Mayan ruins and they were great! Joel and Miguel our guides with the native choice were great! Would recommend this for sure

We planned our own excursion at Maya Chan Beach resort. This was amazing. From setting it up from home, the communication was excellent. And the service was beyond outstanding. They catered to everyone. specifically. We had an anniversary and they decorated the area we were set up in with chairs, a beach bed and table. The people in the area before our had small children and they had sand toys by their area. Drinks and food were included and they were always available and coming around asking if you needed anything. The food was delicious. Our daughter is gluten free and vegetarian. I alerted them to this by their suggestion in one of the emails they sent, and although everything was gluten free they went out of their way to prepare her a separate wonderful meal. Very kind of them.

This was awful We did labamba beach break with inclusive drinks We were told it had sea weed but someone was constantly cleaning it but there were 2 pools We could cancel or go We decided to go Well that was. Mistake The taxi ride was 30 minutes in a non air conditioned vehicle Bumps galore we get there and guess what there is NO ONE else There but workers the smell From old sea weed about makes you vomit and the pools were made from old Semi truck dumpsters!!! Not even clear water in the pools We get seated and the drinks were watered down and warm beer at this point we were scared to drink or touch anything it was so awful The bathrooms were also converted semi trucks We left after an hour the smell was just to much for us We had to wait 30 minutes for taxi ride back to town Beware of this excursion

Only 2 ships in on our day so the port was pleasant! Tricky finding the “exit” but managed to leave the port and grab a quick taxi to Tropicante beach bar for a relaxing afternoon. Great fish tacos and celadas and a little organic tequila tasting. Weather was windy and overcast but it was a fun day!

We book outside of the cruise and went to Nacional Beach Club. Pricey but worth it. I could’ve stared at the water alllll day!
