Cool port with lots of history, and some neat buildings. It is a nice place to do some shopping and take some pictures, but there aren't any nice beaches near the port unless you take an excursion or a long taxi ride. Great place to sit down for a Dutch beer or some blue Curaçao.

Cute downtown for photos etc, but defiantly a good island for an excursion. You get over the downtown pretty quick. We did the historical tour that did the caves and curaçao liquor. It was good for the first time there, but since we stayed there later we could have done a longer excursion.

All of the Dutch islands seemed fantastic and clean and organized. The people are quite friendly. The days are beautiful in these southern isles. We did an enjoyable bus tour of the town, with a very knowledgable tour director. The bus tour stopped at an exclusive resort beach that was unbelievable. The chaises were a little hard to come by and the cabanas went nearly immediately, before we could make a decision. They were an extra fee that was resonable and included a bottled water. I spent most of our time here snorkling the lagoon separated from the ocean by a man made jetty wall. The fish in the lagoon were of amazing variety and the water was very clear. I got so much footage on my new go-pro.

We did the City & Cave Excursion. If you have never been a cave, you will enjoy it. If you have, it was a short tour inside the cave. The area near the cruise ship was very good shopping.

We did this port previously so opted for the "submarine" tour. Was a nice bus ride around the island with much to see both on land and under water. Was also taken to the Curacao factory for a tour. And, of course, bought some bottles of Curacao there.

My favorite stop! The town and buildings were beautiful! There were other things to do besides snorkeling like a cave visit, a floating bridge and floating vendors! A lot of history here!

This stop was nice and different from the previous stops. Was not my favorite but interesting floating bridge and more westernized feel.

Willemstad was beautiful and clean. A little bit of the Netherlands in the Caribbean. My family purchased the speed boat and snorkeling excursion. It was excellent. Friendly crew and quite fun! I recommend this excursion.

Tour the distillery (I was disappointed to learn that all those different "flavors" of curacao are the same exact liquor - with food coloring).
