We took a bus tour of the island and on one of the stops we were able to see where the famous Blue Curaçao was made. We also did some shopping and enjoyed some good barbecue and batidos.

We did the Aquaboat excursion which was new to us and both scary and exhilarating! A lot of fun though! This is a very colorful country with very warm and friendly people. We enjoyed the stop a great deal!

Mambo Beach, a short cab trip away, was great. Easy to return to ship when you want. Restrooms, restaurant and bars right there. Lots of stairs to get down to beach but an elevator is available. Cost was $3.50 entry, $3 for a lounge chair.

My favorite by far. Since it read Christmas day, many shops were not open, however those that were open held wonderful items and very pleasant people.

Curaçao was great. We did an excursion through Irie Tours and it was a lot of fun and great value for the cost - $25 per person. We took a tour in a brightly colored school bus with removed windows around parts of town, went over the tall Juliana Bridge, stopped at the Curaçao liquor factory, toured a wealthy neighborhood, and then stopped at a beach for 1.5 hours, just in time for sunset. The bus we drove around in also included free water, soda, and beer in the back. It's really a fun no-worries kind of excursion, so if that's your thing I highly recommend it.
