This was my 4th cruise and it was definitely the best one to date!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was smooth and it didn’t take long for us to get onboard.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was good. We really enjoyed the many food options that were offered. There was always something to eat no matter the time of day or night.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We utilized the fitness center while on our cruise and there was enough equipment to get a good workout in. We also enjoyed Waterworks when it was open.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The stage shows were amazing! The cast was so talented. The comedy was pretty good. I didn’t like the layout of the limelight lounge. There were quite a few seats where you couldn’t see the stage. You would have to watch the comedian on a television screen.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
Our kids loved Camp Carnival. It was really nice for my husband and I to be able to drop our kids off and have some adult time to celebrate our anniversary.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
We had my time dining and we never sat at the same table. The service in the dining room was hit or miss. Our room steward Pedro and his assistant were great! They always kept our cabin clean and were very attentive to our needs.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was well-maintained and the workers were constantly cleaning to make sure it stayed that way. The layout of the ship takes some time to get used to but by the end of our 8 day cruise we were pros.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was clean and in a great location to easily get to everywhere we wanted to go. There were two adults and two children in our cabin and it was very spacious so we could all move around comfortably.
Ship tip
Be sure to go to the comedy shows early to get a seat where you can see the stage.
We took a tour of the island to see the Natural Bridge, the lighthouse, and Eagle Beach. I wasn’t a fan of Eagle Beach. It was very crowded and we had to keep dodging the jet skis.
We took a bus tour of the island and on one of the stops we were able to see where the famous Blue Curaçao was made. We also did some shopping and enjoyed some good barbecue and batidos.
We had a taxi for the day where we toured the island. We went to the rum factory and the chocolate factory. We were also able to spend part of the day relaxing on the beautiful beach.
