Very pretty island with interesting history and production of spices. We went to fort Frederick and had a beach day at grand anse beach near the port. Plenty of shopping opportunities near the port. We would definitely come back to explore the island more.

This island is beautiful. We walked up to the fort when we arrived and later did a catamaran and snorkel excursion. Folks here are super friendly. Had a great day even with the hit-or-miss showers.

This was not supposed to be a tender port but due to the ship having a broken forward thrust we couldn’t dock here. The tendering was not too bad here. We didn’t do any excursions, we walked through the shopping mall and out back to some local tents and bought some spices. I don’t think I would wander too far here.

We had some good trips on this trip but this by far was the crown jewel. We did not book with the ship we just showed up at the cab depot. We were cattled off with a dozen others to a van. Not knowing what to expect we just bartered a fare cost of 30$ each. Many paid more... I would have paid triple for what we received. Tipped the driver accordingly. He took us for 4 hours all through the island. He was very interesting and entertaining. We saw the rain forest, waterfalls, military forts, and a history of the battle in Grenada in 1985. He stopped and was quite respectful of a painted wall with thanks to 82nd airborne and the US. Highlight for me for certain. Nice countryside with spectacular views.
