It was a great port. You can walk to downtown and a beautiful waterfront. We hiked to Seven Sisters Waterfall in the Rainforest. It was difficult and somewhat strenuous but worth it. Saw people diving - we only swam.

We arranged a tour to Smithy's Garden, Sunnyside Garden, and Laura's Spice Garden online before we arrived. Our taxi picked us up and delivered us to each location. Smithy's garden and Sunnyside garden are private gardens where we were given tours by the actual owners. What a treat!! Laura's Spice Garden is more of a display garden for the cruise ships I think. They gave us a guided tour for about 20 minutes.

Spice tour on the Spice Island, a great insight into Grenada's colonial past. Nutmeg and mace, cinnamon and, though not a spice, chocolate...all worth a gander. Been very fortunate to have travelled all over, but the Grenadans are amongst the friendliest. Looking forward to a return visit.
