This was the first time that I had seen the finished docking pier. It is clean and beautiful. The real shopping is in Philipsberg which you can take the scenic water taxi ride over.

We went to the resort. The pool was magnificant, but you could only get a chair on the beach, the beach was dirty, the water, waves way to rough to actually get out in ocean, and we were suppose to be fed at 11am and got food 5 minutes before we were suppose to leave and had to wolf it down and it was not good at all.

St. Maarten was my preferred port of call. This is a very nice town with friendly people and lots to do and see.

My favorite island of the cruise. Well kept, beautiful port city. Interesting Dutch and French influences.

Here we visited Pinel Island, an uninhabited beach where we snorkeled. There was a lot of coral, so I was a little afraid of being cut. I didn't have much fun there, because of all the kids on this activity. We had a cool drink at the little restuarant on the beach. The water was great.
