We went on a HAL excursion which took us to both the French & Dutch side of the island. It was very interesting & it was a small bus which is much nicer than the big buses. We had several stops to take pictures & to have a light lunch. A great way to see the island.

Despite the strike on the French side, the double-decker bus tour was great and we saw a lot. Unfortunately (?) No big planes went over our heads when we visited that beach by the airport!

The guy selling chairs on the beach is your personal butler and can get you whatever you want! Loved getting foot massages with a scoop from a giant aloe leaf.

Beautiful, but the French side of the island was expensive. Had to pay to use the restroom and the people were not as nice.

It was nice. We did a tour around the entire island but only because I did not know about the air port at the time. I have been back since and it is nicer now.
