Review summary

First cruise had many unexpected experiences. We learned alot about being careful what you book. Loved the experience nevertheless.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Arrived at 3pm and waited about an hour in line. My boyfriend gave away his reusable bag to a foreign kid who was struggling to hold a stack of books (^_^ aww).

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We met a pair of guys from Denmark who were sat at our table and befriended them but we never went back to fine dining. The Buffett was decent. The New Years Midnight Buffett was AWESOME with tons of cool carved cheese wheels, cakes, ice sculptures, edible arrangements, and hor d'oeuvres.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools were really crowded so we sat at the bar area alot.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The theater shows were really good. A guy played a variety of instruments and sang near the disaronno bar and he was really good.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward was very attentive. Bar staff was pleasant. Customer service was not receptive to the fact that our travel agent didn't mention the daily gratuity or that we didnt have the drink package.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
They power washed that big baby every night at 2am. Very clean and elegant. Small pools (but it is an infinity pool) and jacuzzis.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The interior stateroom was decent. Small shower and bathroom but good sized storage.

Ship tip

Take photos on the crystal staircase. Book fantastica experience or better.

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

The guy selling chairs on the beach is your personal butler and can get you whatever you want! Loved getting foot massages with a scoop from a giant aloe leaf.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

5 out of 5
Went snorkeling on a party barge and it was badass!

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Went to the Fort. Ate empanadas and drank cervezas. Saw rainbow macaws for photos and lots of souvenirs.
