I highly recommend the Maho Beach Bum Tour!! Bert was a funny tour guide who took us from the port in St Maarten to the Orient beach. Be forewarned. You will see banana hammocks, g-string clad bikini bottoms and topless women. It is particularly the much older ladies you will see. Anthony, our second tour guide served us endless amounts of Rum punch and Carib beer on our way from Orient to Maho Beach. Maho Beach did not disappoint with all the planes flying merely hundreds of feet from your heads. Make sure to enjoy the fabulous food there at the Sunset Grill. We could not have asked for a better, more entertaining your full of belly laughs!

St. Maarten is still devastated from Hurricane Irma last year. We were surprised Front street has not yet recovered. We haven't been there for 15 years until this trip.

I took a Bernards tour of both sides of the island. The tour company was great. While the water and some beach area are beautiful, the island is still so devastated from Hurricane Irma. That said, this island depends 100% on tourism that visiting helps their economy.

Walk to the end of the beach, where there are very few people. You can hang out on the beach there without being hassled by vendors and without paying anything.

We love St Maartin, but should have taken a land tour. The catamaran/snorkel trip was not as described.

Over rated city nothing extraordinary excursion took ous on 2-3 hour bus ride that was a waste of time. I could have had a better experience along the pier or boardwalk

Orient beach sucks. The people sell to you non stop. It's annoying.

Always one of my favorite Caribbean stops. Beautiful and friendly islanders.

The Locals were very nice...The taxi tour guides are overwhelming! Got to try to Oxtails!

Same problem as in St. Thomas. The damage will take a long time to recover from!
