Beach excursion was nice. We ran into a few problems but carnival wasn’t responsible for any of them and even compensated us for the inconvenience.

The port good the excursion we took that we booked thru cruises.com should have been cancelled we took a catamaran snorkel and beach,it had been raining earlier that morning and the sea was way to rough so we could not take the catamaran like we really were looking forward too they sent us out in a smaller boat for scuba diving when we got to the sight we were to snorkel the waters were way to rough so I asked for a life jacket which they only had 2 on the boat so my husband did not get one when we got into the water the waves really kicked up so it was hard to see anything in the water so we only stayed out for a short time. With that said the crew were very nice and knowledgeable I wish they would have just cancelled the excursion.

Went to Maho Beach to watch the planes fly in. It was so crowded. The food at the bar was good. The bathrooms were disgusting and I'm not even sure that describes it well enough.

Very bright, colourful and welcoming. We done a cata aran excursion which was supposed to include lunch and a glass of champers. We got a tiny baguette after 4pm and champers right at end. All they gave us was rum punch which wasnt very wise as some people were snorkeling. They should have given us lunch at lunchtime. A bit misleading. Otherwise the excursion was very good. Nice to see the low flying planes over the beach.

We just took a water taxi across the cruise port and ended up having a fabulous day. My hubby and friends jet ski, us girls shopped and the food and drinks were dynamite! There was a lot of pressure from the women selling their jewelry and trinkets which was very annoying. (Literally one every two mins) it was very aggressive but we understood they are just tryin to make a buck. There was a random beach dog that bit three ppl not too far from us but once he was gone the day was amazing.

If you like aviation, take a taxi at the end of the pier & go out to Maho Beach. It was $ 9 a person one way. It is a great place to go to a beach & watch airplanes at the same time. Plus there are some bars & restaurants if you get tired of watching planes. The Sunset Bar & Macho Taco are both good

Water taxi is inexpensive ($7 roundtrip) way to go downtown and enjoyable little jaunt ... Have cash - no cc or debit cards.
