Be sure to check out Maho Beach! It is an excellent beach to go to. Do not need to book through the ship we took a taxi for $9/per person. Free Admission onto the beach. There is chair rentals available and a bar/restaurant/gift shop/ public bathrooms available.

So relaxing and laid back. This island is great as you don't have locals that are annoyingly hounding you begging you to buy their things. I can't stand that! But you do not really experience that here. Check out the "Lazy Lizard" for lunch and you will not be disappointed! It's great food and you can rent 2 beach chairs, and umbrella, and a bucket of beer for $25 for the day. Just do it!

We just walked off the ship to the beach. Even with the damage, so beautiful!!!. Large crowds, 4 boats in, but never felt trampled on. Beer prices are the best anywhere. Found out that the owner of Pirates in Paradise, an Ohio State Bar in Saint Maarten, is owned by a guy that grew up around the corner from me in central Ohio. Great place for drinks.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful. This island is one to love. Make sure that you make use of the ferry for $7 you have round trip as many times back and forth from the ship to the different beach shore docks. Saves time from walking

Grabbed a taxi for 16.00 a person and headed to Maho Beach! Watchin the planes fly over us was an awesome experience. We never book excursions on the ships as they are to expensive!

I love St. Maarten. It is still recovering from the hurricanes, but the people are super friendly and I never felt unsafe or unwelcome.
