Did a full island tour which was fun to see but a lot of driving. I would skip a few stops and spend more time at Maho Beach--what a kick watching those planes land and take off.

Walked 20 mins from ship to the beach, loads of umbrellas, shops and bars next to the beach only 20 dollars for three sunbeds, beach lovely and looking at the cruise ships nearby, zip wire ends nearby too.

Our excursion for the day was Da Party Bus. We could not have asked for a better tour of the island. We feel like we saw much of the island, learned about the heritage and had a great time while doing it.

The water was so blue that it appeared to be painted! We shopped at the port. Nothing special. Loved the tin drum music playing as we left the ship.

Went to Orient Beach. Burned my ass at the nude beach. Note to self, less clothes = more sunscreen!

Went to fort. Walked around. Drank the water. Watched people run back to ship. Hilarious. P.S.A. dont be one of those people. Buy a "rolex" and keep an eye or two on the time.

Maho Beach is a great spot for people going to St. Maarten for the first time like us. A taxi fare is $16 round trip per person.

I LOVE ST. MAARTEN! The water was a gorgeous blue. The sand is almost white. It's colorful and gorgeous. The people are amazing. I wish I had time to spend; I'd really like to go to Marigot. But...the people spoke French and the Indian food could not be beat. I got a gorgeous ring!

Create your own excursion: walk to town and take the bus/van to Maho Beach ($2). Check out the planes landing practically on top of you. The ride to and from the beach is fun too!
