Review summary

The Oasis class ships are amazing. A few years ago I was on the Allure of the Seas, and now going on the Oasis I was similarly impressed. Everything from the ship, to the staff, to the activities and entertainment were all outstanding. One can always find something to complain about, but when you take everything into consideration, this was a phenomenal cruise. If you haven't been on an Oasis class ship...go soon!

Ship tip

Be sure to book your entertainment shows as soon as you book your trip. Although you don't have to pay for the shows, you do need a ticket to get in to them.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

Create your own excursion: Walk up to the distillery and spend some time in Graycliff experiencing the old hotel and the chocolate and cigar factories. If you want to go to the Atlantis, take the water taxi to the right once you exit the ship terminal.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Create your own excursion. Walk tot he marina next door and take the $5 water taxi to Water Island. Go to Rainbow beach and enjoy the day!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Create your own excursion: walk to town and take the bus/van to Maho Beach ($2). Check out the planes landing practically on top of you. The ride to and from the beach is fun too!

I prefer Oasis and Allure both over Harmony, no pool in the solarium, big negative given the choice.
