The friendly island and it certainly is. We stayed in the port area, lovely shops and beach. You can walk to the beach.

This is one of our favorite ports in the Caribbean. We always enjoy walking along the main street and stopping at the Guavaberry Store. There are a number of nice restaurants along the beach side. The sands at the beach are very pretty and very popular. Phillipsburg is about 90% recovered from the hurricane that caused a lot of destruction in 2017.

Went to the airport beach bar as we always do. They expanded since the hurricane 2 years ago and now the place is a zoo. Waaay too crazy for me to go back

Maho Beach the best. Do not miss it. If you walk to the taxi station at the port, there is a special rate of $16 each person roundtrip to Maho beach.
