Since St. Maarten is one of our favorite islands, we were extremely disappointed that we had to return to the ship by 1:30 in the afternoon. My husband and I have spent much time here and were very disappointed that we did not have enough time to show our children our favorite island. Instead we took a catamaran to Maho beach (with snorkeling and watching the planes). This was fun but not at all what we had wanted to do.

Took a long time to get to and because of rough seas some of our party missed a couple of days initially; even with anti nausea medication but our beach experience on St. Maarten was good although I was somewhat disappointed with snorkling opportunities.

St. Maarten is truly one of the most beautiful islands in all the Caribbean. The Dutch side of defiantly more developed whole the French side has many beautiful homes. Orient Bay is amazing and the water is beautiful. Also, Maho beach is where the planes land, that is also a once in a lifetime opportunity to see.

Did the party boat watching planes come in & snorkeling. It was ok. Didn’t see anything snorkeling & water was murky. Just floating & rum punch was good though.
