Port Shops area was very small & town was very crowded. Did the DePalm Private Beach Excursion through the ship. Was not impressed with the beach area (very small & rocky). The food was ok (eating by the beach was nice), but the ladies at the bar kept the drinks coming & never watered down.

Carnival Sunshine pulled in late due to weather. Most people's excursions were cancelled due to time or bad weather. By the time customs cleared us and we got off the ship, we only had an hour until dark. We walked North on the main drag until dark to try to see as much as we could. We didn't stop to shop, figuring the shops would be open so we could shop. We headed back around 5:45, but most things were closed. All of the Carnival shops were closed by 6:30. So disappointing! I'm sure the Island is amazing, but we did not get a chance to really see it.

Diving excursion here was amazing! We also did a land excursion which was ok. The aloe vera factory was interesting, but basically a huge sales pitch for their gift shop.

We did the dePalm Island excursion. Great outdoor/sea water park that came with lunch. My husband said it had the best snorkeling he ever experienced. Would definitely do this place again, but would definitely book it independently of the cruise ship just to have more time there. We were in Aruba 11 hours, so would getting back to the ship on time would not be a concern.

Port ok. Did a resort for a day pass at the RIU Palace. The good - pools/towels / drinks / and great buffets included. The bad - no chairs, crowded beach. No shuttle so taxi / bus. Make sure you are 100% dry for taxi.

Loved it here. If you like water sports, Palm beach is the place to go. We went parasailing for the first time. You could see everything in the water. If you want a quieter beach, Eagle beach is right before Palm. Both beautiful!! Weather was perfect!!
