ATV Double with Action Tours!! My husband and I have 2 young boys ages 6 and 9. We booked this excursion through the shipmate app and rented 2 double ATV's. Some may have said we were crazy for taking our kids on such a fast, rugged adventure but it seriously was our families highlight of our cruise. We got off Carnival Sunshine. When entering the port, walk all the way past the main gate, in front of diamonds international, and tell all the other companies (trying to get you to book with them) that you are waiting for Action Tours. The guide had our names typed and printed in his book. As he flips through it you find your name and he will give it to you. He doesnt leave until the books empty. We traveled in an air conditioned bus to a parking deck lol. You do have to walk up several flights of stairs to get to where the ATVs are located. You check in, get your helmet, put on your face mask or bandana or you can buy one there (4 were $25 but they fit very well and didnt fall off). Our kids sat on a padded seat and had to hold on to regular bars. The atvs were very well kept, automatic, and very very easy to use. Even though it was guided, you go fast and it was very very thrilling. You go down town, back neighborhoods (very safe and they stop traffic for you, so there is no need to be worried), to an old rose gold mine, a church where we got to taste real coconut water and buy slices of delicious fruit, lighthouse, and a swim for 30 min I believe they called it Baby Beach. They take you back to the parking deck where you can explore more if you choose on your own with a separate taxi or you get taken back to the port. We literally rode four wheelers with the stops in between for 4 hours. It truly was a dream come true and my boys did great and literally screamed Woooo hooo the entire time. I highly recommend. The pictures are breathtaking. We ziptied a water container on the front and kept our large backpack in the guides UTV....it was very accomodating. If you go, book in advance and ask for Preston, Jessie, and Manuel....they know how to have a good time and will help you or let you be as needed. My youngest had a secret handshake with Jessie and he still thinks their like best friends now. Lolol All I can say is take the adventure!!

Best stop of the cruise! Wish we could’ve stayed there longer. Spent $40 for two chairs and an umbrella rental for the day. Brought snacks and drinks. The water was warm and clean, sand was soft and white. Amazing! 10 minute $15 cab from the port! Eagle Beach is awesome.

Loved the port! If you wanna shop go to the stores around the port they are a $1 and the sightseeing and beaches are beautiful. Totally safe, I toured with an independent guy and it was great totally worth it and it was 20$

The area was beautiful. We basically just walked for 2 hours enjoying the island on our own. Saw the ships coming in. Had a drink at a neighborhood bar with lovely views of the water and ships coming in. Shops were plentiful with reasonable prices. Just lovely.
