We did the Klein Bonaire water taxi and snorkeled and then took a taxi around the island. Love it there and if you can spend time at Sorobon beach it is where we want to go back to.

First time for Bonaire and pleasantly surprised. Had a great cab driver who showed us around and dropped us off at Sorbonne (sp?) beach on lac bay. Great place to watch the wind surfers and have a beer at jibe city. Will head straight there in January.

We signed up for a snorkeling excursion on another visit and it sucked. As certified scuba divers, snorkeling would be a snap but the experience was such that we would not recommend it. This time we took a bus tour and since I'm 6'2" I had a hard time with the tight seating. My knees were jammed into the back of the seat in front. This is one island we can do without.

We love bonaire, Crystal clear water even nice to see if you don't want off ship. Go sit at the crows nest and have some drinks play games or read a book and enjoy views! Husband went shore diving as its the best there. The island didn't know we were coming as it was a port change so people commented no shops were open but that also was due to us being there late at 4pm. Wish we were there earlier and more cruises stopped in bonaire.
