We did a kayak adventure. The distance we had to kayak, nearly a mile against the waves and in windy conditions, wasn’t difficult. The issue was with the beaches. Covered in rocks, dead coral, and even trash. Snorkeling was part of the excursion, but we couldn’t do that either because visibility in the water was minimal. We were the first group to go out. The remaining tours were cancelled after that due to poor weather conditions.

Wonderful ship's excursion on the Double Dip Snorkel on the Sea Cow. One of the best snorkel trip we've ever done and the first one that we actually had such a knowledgeable guide that actually got in the water with us to show us different corals and fish!! Highly recommend.

Bonaire was an interesting place, but much more tuned to divers, snorklers, and boaters. Of the thre "A,B,C" Islands, this one is least developed. Also found it interesting that when we inquired with a local about restroom facilities, she steered us to a .35 pay toilet! Still, beautiful scenery and friendly people.
