We loved Bonaire! We rented a golf cart for the day and toured the south side of the island. We stopped at the Donkey Sanctuary(We HIGHLY recommend this!!), and then drove up to 1000 Steps beach to snorkel. We finished off at Coco beach to lay out. In hindsight we would’ve rented a car, to see more and have more beach time. But we want to go back.

The southern Caribbean's best-kept secret. I have not had as much time exploring any island more than Bonaire, which we did via golf cart, thanks to Bonaire Cruisers. From postcard port town, to peaceful western beaches, to the flamingos at Lake Goto, to the tropical wilds of Washington-Slagbaai National Park, to quaint Rincon (and the unique cactus liqueur worth a sample at Cadushy distillery), to the Onima indian inscriptions, to the panoramic views from Saru Largu, there's something for everyone - and that's just the northern loop. Head south from Kralendjyk past the airport to see Pekelmeer, the salt pans, slave huts, Willemstoren lighthouse, the wild eastern shore beaches, Lac Bay, and mangroves. The island is small enough to explore on your own - and we did so with plenty of time, even taking a two-hour lunch break on the ship. Simply put, this was one of the best days I've ever had in port. (Copied from my Ship Mate port review.)

Our first time in Bonaire. We used Achie Tours, and they were great.

Had a blast rented a golf cart from Bonaire Cruises you talk about friendly people. We had so much fun driving around at our leisure. We did the North side with all the cactus plants, and the South side and the beautiful sights of pint salt flats. Not to mention the sea foam blowing across them with 20 to 30 mph trade winds.

This island is mostly desert, but beautiful. We did an ATV excursion and saw the coast line, the country side and a cave. It was well worth it.

If I could give Bonaire 10 stars, I would. The port is clean and easily navigated. We did the 2-stop snorkeling excursion with Seacow. The crew and guides were fun and super informative.

We took a water taxi over to Klein Bonaire. We chose Watertaxi Kantika. Captain Bob was very friendly and knowledgeable. His service was excellent. The island is beautiful. We enjoyed the morning snorkeling. It was a drift snorkel. We saw so many wonderful fish and turtles. This is a must do!

Also a favourite island of mine. Not over populated, but populated with wealthy peoples summer homes. Lots of natural beauty and an awesome kiteboarding scene at the South west corner of the island.
