Not keen on St Vincent, local people are not very welcoming. Had our P&O trip cancelled so we stayed on board.

St Vincent is worth a visit. We had an excursion to the waterfalls which was a long way but it did mean we saw a lot of the island. We picked this excursion up on the dock. It was a reasonable price and the driver spoke good English and knew his stuff. We really enjoyed this trip it gave us an excellent taste of the island.

My family are from this island so did not book any excursions but did relax at Sunshores Beach Hotel, used their bar and sun longer and swam in the sea.

not much to do in town, but the welcome entertainment is excellent. Tried to visit the Layou pictograph and didn't due to the terrible customer service received, lack of information and lack of their correct money for change. It really put me off, and i wouldn't visit the centre in a hurry, unless these things changed dramatically.

This was the scariest place I've been for a while... We were told to go to Villa Beach for the best beach experience. We booked a taxi to the beach and he dropped us off and told us to walk on this wooden bridge, under another wooden bridge, to get to the beach. Turned out we walked on the planks to be met with a narrow, stone walkway along the sea wall. So, you had to walk about 40 feet on an 18 inch stone ledge that was slippery and covered with sea weed. The beach was icky and had two storm sewer outlets and a child that was there all day (on a Tuesday) and bothered us, at one point kicking me in the stomach when I said he couldn't use our air mattress. Three policewomen stood there and watched the whole thing!!! Then, a fishing boat came and landed on the beach. The policewoman approached it and we were sure they were going to do something. She did do something, she bought a fish from him and used the nuisance boy to shuttle the fish and money for her. Don't go here.

Beautiful tropical island. We did a sailing excursion and had a great time. Other ppl on the tour who had been to St V before and walked around the town said it was much more enjoyable doing an excursion as the town itself doesn’t show St V at its best.

Where we docked was extremely poor and uninteresting. Only 2 excursions were offered but I understand they were good. If I had to eliminate one island in lieu of another sea day it would be this one.

Not bad - we went to a beach via water taxi. No easy way for tourists to access the beach from the dock at the beach destination.
