The amount of shops in port is unbelievable. And a food court with a swimming pool. Prices cheaper here: embroidered bags-$10, Hawaiian style men’s shirts-3/$20. We took a taxi to Palms Court Gardens which is a small day resort with an infinity pool overlooking the harbor. Was $7/person. Just checked website & now looks like $12. Still worth it. Bring your Carnival towel to save renting one.

We went to Cockleshell beach. It is a beautiful beach but a little missy and rocky. We got massages on the beach for 35.00/40 min. It was very peaceful and relaxing!

This was my favorite island. We took an island tour that was very educational, and we spent time at Friar’s Bay. The beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. There were plenty of activities and a bar/restaurant.

Scenic train ride was fun. Flowing alcohol and very nice staff. We really enjoyed learning about the islands history and seeing the beautiful scenery.

The tour vendors are extremely pushy! They were yelling at us and fighting one another. I even saw one guy being pushed on the ground because they were arguing over customers. Go ahead and bring $10 because it’s inevitable that you will be holding a monkey at some point while on the island and maybe even have a change to meet Jimi Hendrix (the monkey). We were not overly impressed with the island but there are some beautiful places and once away from the pushy vendors we found some nice people and had a great beach day.

I would have liked to have done a trip to a beach here. We wandered around the areas just outside of the port shops and experienced a little more of the flavor of the island.

Lots of history here. We took the Scenic and Shopping tour. We travelled on a small bus and got to see a lot of the Island. Some of which was sad due to the poverty of some of the villages that we drove through. We visited a former (slave) plantation which was very scenic but a terrible part of our history. Even though the tour said shopping, the only shopping was clothing or dyed goods made at this tourist location by the locals using ancient methods. Still worth the visit!

St. Kitts is beautiful. Did the volcano hike, about a 40 minute ride from the port. It's an extremely strenuous hike. I could not make it to the top but my husband and granddaughter did. They drive crazy there but it was a beautiful place.
