I liked this port because I really enjoy Talking to the locals. You can learn a lot about their culture. I took pictures with the cutest monkeys and bought some really nice home made jewelry.

More the fabrics at batik interesting? Did anyone get to see how they dye the fabric? Can you purchase the fabric or is it already made into items? I am interested in purchasing a yard of fabric that has been dyed at the island.

A very rural and low inhabitated island. We took a taxi to Cockleshell Bay/Raggae Beach Bar, but very dissappointed of the crowded beach (sand not very bright, left side a lot of sealences in water). Thus we took another taxi to South Friars Bay, which was much nicer. Great sunbeds, a nice bar and good sand/water. This was a tipp of our friendly rasta taxi driver. We took his advice and were not disappointed. Overall taxi rides were 14 USD (shared car), 15USD and 10USD.

The amount of shops in port is unbelievable. And a food court with a swimming pool. Prices cheaper here: embroidered bags-$10, Hawaiian style men’s shirts-3/$20. We took a taxi to Palms Court Gardens which is a small day resort with an infinity pool overlooking the harbor. Was $7/person. Just checked website & now looks like $12. Still worth it. Bring your Carnival towel to save renting one.
