toured the island and shopped. Bought a lot of jewelry there. Fantastic prices. Better prices than St. Thomas. I know because we have been to St. Thomas before and St. Kitts is a lot better and more friendly. Loved the island.

We were supposed to do an excursion, but it was cancelled. We just walked around the port instead.

Went to Carambola Beach Club. (4 dollar a person taxi ride)For 20 dollars you get two chairs and an umbrella. It is a gorgeous beach club with fun water sports (30 dollars for a LONG 30 min on a jet ski) and awesome snorkeling. Tip: buy and bring your own snorkel gear for the entire cruise. Awesome restaurant and open air bar.

Great local tour guide who provided tons of information about the island though not as much to see on the tour.

Here we did the Chocolate Factory Tour. The chocolate was very good but you don't actually tour a "factory". It is a chocolate store attached to a jewelry store... The owner is very personable. You are given a PowerPoint presentation on the cocoa and then you go into another room to "make" your chocolate. Where you pour chocolate and candies into your pre-made truffle. They store it for you while you spend the rest of the day in St Kitts.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. This is the smallest island we visited. The best beach is the cockleshell beach. Please, this is the smallest island, so try to go extra mile and give generously in the tip.

We rented a couple jeeps and drove around the island. It's amazing to see the differences from both sides. We made sure to eat lunch at a small hole-in-the-wall place, and the food was good.

South Friar's Bay is a nice beach only an $8 cab ride from the cruise port ... not only is the water clear and calm and the beach uncrowded, but you get a spectacular view of neighboring Nevis. Hint ... while the cab driver will drop you off at the Carambola Beach Club, walk down the beach a few hundred yards where there will be much fewer people around you.

The dolfhin excursion was great, however, we were not permitted to take our own pictures, and photos are extremely expensive. We bought two for $80, only because it was a one time experience. The packages were based on per person pricing. They need a better way to sell photos.
