3rd time to St Kitts. Beautiful island. Beware of the monkey people at the pier. There is a charge to have them sit on you. We knew that so we asked prices before allowing.

Only place we took a non Princess excursion and we were very pleasantly surprised! Sam the Man took us in a very comfortable van all over the island. He pointed out tons of sights and gave us so much history. We stopped to take pictures and he was funny and so knowledgeable. Best part was the price, $25 a piece! Plus we had time to shop at the little places along the way and back at the port because he got us back in plenty of time. Also we found a lot of the best prices for souvenirs on this island and the shopkeepers were not constantly hounding you to buy something. One of my favorite islands.

Shop here. Best prices on shirts and liquor. Eat lunch at Mrs Moore's right inside the port. great johnnycake chicken and salt fish sandwiches. We had 6 beers and 2 sandwiches for $18 USD. don't buy the provided shuttle service. the cabs are 1/3 the price of the ship. Everyone was pretty upset about this. If the ship can't park close, they should provide the bus to the port. We didn't make it to the beach, but wanted to. We wish we had more time here. There are black-sand beaches which i've never seen. Would have been cool to see that. I hear they aren't nice though (lava rock). There are nicer white sand beaches as well on the other side.

I pre-booked a tour here (not through the ship) and we had a wonderful day. Our driver Annie (who is the company owner) has a marvellous knowledge of the island and gave a running commentary throughout. We thought St. Kitts was lovely, different from lush Martinique, but unique. The island seems to be recovering from the hurricane, but appeared to sustain not too much damage.

Took a Beach break excursion thru ship. It was fine, didn’t get a chance to order any food before we left so I was pretty hungry when we got back

The beach was nice. We dipped our feet in sparkly black sand and saw monkeys walking with their owners across the beach. Snorkeling in this area was pretty cool and easy to do as well.

Since this was our second visit to St Kitts, we decided to take a ferry over to Nevis. Very nice little island with nice beaches and plenty to see. Had a great day.

St. Kitts is beautiful and we loved the scenery but when you get off the port be prepared to be hounded about buying everything and taking excursions. We walked into a shop and the guy followed me around practically begging me to buy this piece of jewelry. It got to the point to where we were scared to enter into another shop. We ended up taking a $20 tour through the town and into the rainforest and our tour guide was really nice! Even offered to take us to the beach and he came back two hours later and picked us up. Overall a beautiful island, just be prepared about the begging.

2nd time to St Kitts! This island is gorgeous!!! It reminds me of Hawaii! We did the Rail and Sail tour and enjoyed it! The sailing was very smooth! The train wasn't as smooth but it was neat to see how people live in different areas.
