Typical cruise port shopping district (most of the shops were very friendly and not aggressive). Be aware of the monkey guy who throws monkeys on you and demands $10 for the experience (um I didn’t ask for monkeys to be thrown on me!).

Least favorite port. Make sure to plan an excursion otherwise there isn’t a whole lot to do. The people are pretty pushy in this port trying to get you to go on their tours or buy things. Better to go away from port and explore other parts of the island. We did a historical tour with Annie’s tours which was wonderful and was the saving grace for this port. Without that it would have been a bust. Great tour if you enjoy history.

Visit Cockleshell / Reggae Beach - it's beautiful! Also the Black Rocks are really cool!

we did a rainforest adventure hike, and it was an exercise! though it said moderate expertise, I recommend being in good shape to hike up a steep hill by rope.
