Avoid the 2 hr tour through town. It's a glorified taxi ride and our driver had a very dry personality. Some of the sights were great but I know there are better things to do there in this beautiful place.

Art scores and was to take the catamaran from the ship to the north side of the island by the fort. There we transferred to a bus that took us to the train, and we rode the railroad the 20 miles all the way back to Basa Tara. Open aired on the second floor of the trade cars… The local school girls singing among us tourists… All the drinks you could drink… What a terrific excursion

The area just right around the port is touristy, but if you walk a little past it, you get into some of the local areas. Very quaint and beautiful area. We had some beers and lunch, bought some rum and had to get the St. Kitts tourist t-shirt LOL). Rum prices here were better than most other ports. Tip: Norwegian will check in your liquor and hold it until the end of the cruise if you want to take a couple of bottles home in your checked luggage
