Ship is worn, but clean and comfortable

Ports of call

Basseterre, St. Kitts

5 out of 5
Very clean island, friendly people, nice port. Took a private excursion that was excellent.
Don't Miss: Romney Manor and Caribelle Batik

Bridgetown, Barbados

Beaches are beutiful; taxi drivers are rude. Recommend going to Boatyard. For $15 get chair and umbrella, return shuttle to pier, and drink. I went to free beach next door but paid $10 for 2 chairs and umbrella, $10 for taxi back to port; and $5 for 2 water bottles.
Don't Miss: Malibu Beach and Distillery

La Romana, Dominican Republic

3 out of 5
Nothing at port. La Romana is a bustling city and overwhelming to tourists. Very agressive pan-handling. Escorted Tour to Santo Domingo was very informative and educational- we were just seeking a self guided walking trip, we were very disappointed.
Don't Miss: Altos de Chavon and Kandela Show

Roseau, Dominica

Beutiful landscape and foliage. Trafalgar Falls and Emerald Pool are most popular attractions. Roads are mostly one lane and steep hills. Driving is a challenge. Glad to have seen it, will never return or will spend day on ship.
Don't Miss: Bruce Morne Overlook

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Shopping mecca of caribbean. Prices were not as competitive as in past years. I wanted to buy a digital camera and had better price offers through Costco. Cuzzins is a very popular restaurant, recommend the Conch Fritters.
