Tortola itself is beautiful, as are the people, but our excursion was just okay. "we're here you have 10 minutes and then we leave" kinda thing. I'm not going to name the excursion because they did the best they could, kept us entertained etc but the person I went with wanted to do excursions and I'm a go see what we can find kinda traveler, so it was the exact reason I don't do the "touristy" thing normally, but they did their best.

NCL Virgin Gordy Baths. We were a group of 8. Kinda a rough 40 minute boatride-some of our group we’re seasick. Take a Dramamine before going if that bothers you. Both beaches at the baths were picturesque. Snorkeling at the 1st beach was really good. The hike Rock formations was gorgeous but crowded. Glad we went but it is one of those places I will say “Been there, Done that”

Not much to see or do locally where the ship docks. We’ve been told you have to pretty much take an excursion to see any of the islands beauty. Plan on booking an excursion if you want to do anything!

Nice port to a have a walk , felt very relaxed here , looked lovely as you come in to port ,not till you have a good walk around you get to see the seriousness of the damage ..

Cruised here in 2012 when it was not very developed. Walked off the ship and right back on because the downtown area was a very long walk. From what I have seen the port had developed a lot and changed over the years so my review may not even be relevant anymore. But in my experience if you don’t have an excursion don’t bother getting off the ship.
