The excursion we chose was to the Barceló Bávaro Palace. While we knew this was not an adults only excursion, we were not expecting a resort full of high school students able to drink. While the resort was clean, the food and service were HORRIBLE!

Not worth the stop. Was added at the last minute due to the damage in San Juan.

Beautiful area. We chose to use our time at the beach and some shopping near the dock. It was a very wonderful and relaxing experience.

Did go into port, not much to do quite pricey for things to do. Plus too humid, did not like.

Didn't get off the ship because it's a tendered port and the water was really choppy. Tender boats looked like they were on a roller coaster, didn't look fun.. lol

This port was added last minute, and some last minute vacations were provided. We paid through NCL and booked a trip to a private beach done through Scape park, it was beautiful, they provided non motorized water sports, beach volleyball, and an open bar (when we booked the excursion, it said food and beverages, as well as lounge chairs not included, but we were pleasantly surprised by the open bar and the provided lounger chairs/sun umbrellas). We had a wonderful attentive waiter, and although the drinks were not excellent, and the Tequila was subpar, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our time there. There was seaweed on the shore due to recent rain, but we had water shoes and had no problem with it.

Didn’t go outside of the port as it was very expensive to go somewhere.

Couldn’t tender here since the water was too rough, so the Captain made the decision to have a Day at Sea and slowly make our way to St. Thomas. Luckily for us, it turned out to be better as the sun was out majority of the day.
