I read many negative reviews about Punta Cana before going. Many said don’t get off. Tendering in was an awful process. I’ve been to 18 Caribbean islands and Punta Cana was one of my favorites 😍 water was a little rough so they could only take half the people at a time and they also said they had to go slower. Was not long or bad at all. We were in a gated community when we got off, so very safe. The beach was absolutely beautiful. We went to little Jon, Cap Cana. I could have stayed there a full week!!! Not many stores so shopping wasn’t the best.

The excursion was supposed to be a tour of Rum factory, Chocolate factory, Coffee factory and Cigar factory. They were all within one compound. There was no factory tours at all. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! MONEY WASTED!

Beautiful. When you get off the tender there are booths set up where you can buy transfers to different beaches. We went to a beach that had a pool and bar/restaurant had a fantastic day.

Went deep sea fishing, the water was very high and not much fun. We had a few bites and landed a few fish. The crew was outstanding and very helpful.

The excursion we chose was to the Barceló Bávaro Palace. While we knew this was not an adults only excursion, we were not expecting a resort full of high school students able to drink. While the resort was clean, the food and service were HORRIBLE!

Celebrity Equinox tenders using the ship’s life boats to the Cap Cana marina. This is a very nice, very safe, gated residential community. There are a few shops and restaurants. A tent was set up to purchase shuttle tickets. We purchased the shuttle to Juanillo beach. The price is roundtrip. They give you a wristband & you meet the bus down past the shops. We were the only passengers, so there was no wait. The drive took less than 15 minutes & we never left the gated community. The beach was beautiful. Soft white sand, palm trees, crystal clear water, and a beach bar/restaurant, Little John. There was some seaweed (we were warned before buying our shuttle tickets), but it was raked up well. The bar had excellent drinks. Unfortunately all of the chairs were in use when we arrived, so I don’t know if there was a cost to use them. When we were ready to leave, we didn’t have to wait on the shuttle. It was a very easy, enjoyable beach day. I look forward to visiting this port again.

Didn't enjoy at all, took tender to the port walked around for 1 hour got back on tender back to the ship. If we were to go back we wouldn't even get off the ship.
