This is overall the best port on the trip. Not enough time here.

St Thomas was just breathtakingly beautiful. Did a sightseeing tour (outside of Carnival) that took us to the worlds best banana daiquiri store with an observation deck for incredible views. Then some beach time at Megan’s bay where you could enjoy the crystal clear water and be waited on while enjoying the water!!!

St. Thomas port was very beautiful! Loved the view of the city from the ship and all the boats in port. We went to Megan's Beach. Our tour guide stop at a cliff that over looked it and was so beautiful. The beach was ok, I know they say it's a top 10 beach. We did not see anything too exciting and the water was clear.

We booked a tour ourselves with a local company, recommended online of course. It was named 'Speedy's' and it was GREAT! VERY friendly and accommodating to what we wanted. We got an extension tour with commentary the whole time, which we loved, then taken to a local restaurant that was GREAT and then 2 hours of beach time at our chosen beach spot. Highly recommend them.

Our secnd time to visit. We love St Thomas especially Sapphire Beach where we ended up again. the beaches on the north and east sides are the best. We rented a car again to see more of the island which we did. Mt Top has beautiful views and at Drakes Bench. Really nice guy here selling bottled water and giving some history. We tipped him. The traffic in down town Charlotte Amalie is a nightmare. Plan accordingly. Next time we'll probably just do an excursion or get a taxi to Megan beach or go to St John's island. Leave the driving to someone else.

Did the excursion but was not interested in diamonds or watches so we spent the shopping time visiting a little museum. The woman there was very friendly. She explained the history of the island and described the artifacts. If your not a shopper go to the museum. Tour took us up the mountain where the views are spectacular. We chose to go back to the ship as opposed to the beach as it was very windy with rain showers.

Beautiful place to visit. I would recommend going to World Famous Banana Daiquiri to get a nice view of the island, I used Godfrey Tours for my visit there.
