I took the snorkeling excursion to turtle cove and it was extremely worthwhile. Turtles were seen nearby, although not super close, because the snorkeling was a little crowded in the area. However, the reef and the abundance of fish to view were spectacular. Afterwards, the drinks and the view of the island while sailing back to the port made for an idyllic afternoon with fellow guests. The port itself was kind of "meh" in my opinion though. The shopping options were great yet a little on the expensive side. However, there were not alot of public facilities like restrooms and I got the distinct impression that it might not be a good idea to wander too far from the port on foot; security seemed to very tight right outside of the cruise ship though so I felt very safe in the actual port area.

Beautiful port. Had a drink on land and it was delicious. Very much liked St. Thomas. People were very friendly except for one bartender (young, caucasian woman, who totally ignored me at the bar and was talking to another patron right in front of me). I left that place and found service nearer the port with a friendlier bartender.

We took the Fast Cat snorkeling tour (booked through Royals cruise planner)... absolutely loved it! So fun - we saw sting rays and sea turtles and so many beautiful fish. Highly recommend it!

Megan's bay was beautiful. Too many people. We rented chairs but had to drag them down the beach to find a spot. They ship you around in open air truck beds. Hard to find a cab.

I love this place. Been many times, but never gets old. We enjoy the port area a lot and we enjoy touring the island with friends. Naturally, a true cruiser enjoys getting back to the ship.

We loved this port. We were greeted by dancers and performers and enjoyed it very much. In this port we took the Kon Tiki party boat excursion. IT WAS GREAT! It started with a tour of the general area while sipping rum punch. We were taken to a baech where we left the boat for some beach time. On the way back we had a dance party with some island dances, followed by a conga line, and limbo. Between the rum punch and the party a great time was had by all. If you love to party I highly recommend this excursion.

The VI Cat is a must! We did the turtle snorkle catamaran excursion on the VI Cat and had a super time. Saw many turtles...be sure to take a waterproof camera. After the morning excursion we stopped at the tiki hut and had their Bushwacker...another must! Loved this stop!

In ST Thomas we did the Skyride to Paradise Point. We had an amazing time, the view from the Skyride is BEAUTIFUL. We had lunch and spirits at the top of the mountain and was able to shop at our leisure. This excursion is self motivational, so there’s no guide or set time or meeting place at the end of the pier. Just remember your ALL ABOARD time...
